Canceling your Ting Mobile account

We’d hate to see you go, but we understand. If you need to cancel your Ting Mobile service, we’re here to help. Contact us, and we’ll guide you through the process. If you’re taking your number to another carrier, we’ll provide your porting information. We’d also love to hear why you’re canceling—your feedback helps us improve, and we might even be able to resolve any issues you’ve been experiencing.

What to expect when you cancel

  • Your account will deactivate within 48 hours.
  • Any lines remaining on your account will be canceled and deactivated.
  • To keep your number, complete your port-out request before canceling.
  • Your final bill will be available about a week after cancellation, and your card on file will be charged automatically.
  • Accounts with an outstanding balance will not be canceled, and the balance will need to be cleared prior to canceling.

If you change your mind, we can help you reinstate your account. If you’ve ported your number out, you can transfer it back to Ting.

Accounts with outstanding balances

We can’t cancel accounts with unpaid balances. If you owe anything, reach out to settle your account first. We’ll also provide porting information if you’re transferring your number to another carrier.

How to cancel

  1. Head to Tingmobile.com and sign in to your Ting Mobile account.
  2. Select Account Settings in the left-hand menu.
  3. Scroll down to manage services.
  4. Select Port out or cancel Mobile service.
  5. Click No thanks. Cancel my account.
  6. Complete the cancelation survey.
  7. Select Submit.
