Adding or Updating a Payment Method on your Internet Account

Your account is set up for automatic billing to your credit or debit card to make life easier. These payment methods can be easily adjusted from within your account settings on the refreshed account interface. You can also check which payment method is your default for charges and add, remove, or update payment methods.

Adding a credit card to your account

  • 1. Sign in to your refreshed account interface.
  • 2. Under Account overview, select Manage payment.
  • 3. Click Add a payment method.
  • 4. Enter your credit card details.
  • 6. Choose to use your existing billing address or add a new one.
  • 7. When you’re done, select Add.

    Click Make this default payment method before saving your details.
  • Adding ACH (bank account) to your account

  • 1. Sign in to your refreshed account interface.
  • 2. From the Account overview, select Manage payment.
  • 3. Scroll down and select Bank account (ACH).
  • 4. Enter your name and email address.
  • 5. Click Add. A Stripe pop-up will open.
  • 7. Read Stripe’s terms of service. Click Agree and continue to move forward.
  • 9. In the window, search for your bank using the list or the search bar at the top.
  • 10. Select your bank and follow the prompts to sign in.
  • 11. You’ll be redirected to your bank’s login page in a new window.
  • 12. Once signed in, choose the account you want to use for payments and click Connect account.
  • 13. You’ll see a confirmation screen. Click Done.

  • Updating Your Billing Address

    You can’t edit the billing address on a saved payment method–but you can add the same card again with a new address.

    Here’s how:

    1. Follow the steps to add a new payment method.
    2. When prompted, select Use a different billing address.
    3. Enter your card details and your new billing address.
    4. Check the box next to Make this default payment method to replace the old one.
    5. Click Add to save your new info.

    Changing your default payment method

    If your credit card has expired or you just want to switch billing methods, here’s how:

    1. On your Payment details screen, click Set as default next to your preferred payment method.
    2. You’ll see Default appear next to the one that’s currently set.

    ❌ Want to remove an old payment method?
    Removing old payment methods helps keep things tidy, click Remove next to the one you no longer want to use. Just note–you’ll need to keep at least one payment method saved on your account.
