Two-factor authentication (2FA) for Ting Mobile

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Ting account by requiring two pieces of information to log in:

  1. Your password.
  2. A unique authentication token generated by an authenticator app or sent via text message.

Even if someone gains access to your username and password, they can’t log in without your 2FA code. This extra step ensures your account remains secure, protecting important connections like banking and social media.

When you sign in to your Ting Mobile account, you’ll need to set up 2FA if you haven’t done so already.

  2. If 2FA isn’t set up, a pop-up window will appear.
  3. Enter your Ting account password and click Continue.
