What will DirecTV be available?
DirectTV will be available starting August 2026.
What is DirecTV Stream?
It’s live TV–without the cable. DirecTV Stream works over your Ting internet connection and gives you local channels, live sports, news, on-demand shows, and DVR. It’s a simpler setup with no cable box clutter.
Do I still get my regular channels like ABC, CBS, and NBC?
Yes. Local networks are included in the DirecTV Stream package.
Can I watch Village Television?
Yes! Village TV is available on its free app (for Smart TVs, tablets, and smartphones) or on the Village TV YouTube channel.
What equipment do I get?
Each manor will receive two Gemini Stream Boxes from DirecTV. These give you a familiar, cable-like experience including local channels and DVR.
Want to add more? You can purchase extra boxes if needed, or just use the DirecTV app on other devices.
Can I still use my Roku, Fire Stick, or Apple TV?
Absolutely. If your device supports Wi-Fi and HDMI, you’re good to go.
What about Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, or other streaming services?
You can keep using your favorite streaming services just like you do now. They work with your Ting internet and your Smart TV or streaming device.
What will DirecTV be included in my HOA fees?
In January 2027 you'll start seeing your Ting Internet and DirectTV fees included. Learn more about your connected community.

How much DVR storage is included?
You get cloud DVR storage:
- Record and save programs for up to 90 days.
- Store up to 20 hours of recordings (with unlimited episodes per series).
- Access recordings on up to four registered devices.
- Each Gemini Stream Box comes with 16 GB of built-in storage.
