Opting Out of Service Text Messages
You're opted into real-time communications on the status of any outage and repairs to service in your area via text (SMS) messaging. No need to call in–alerts are automatically sent straight to your phone.

Changing the Phone Number for Text Message Alerts
Need to update your SMS alert number? Head to your Ting account to make the change.
- Sign in to your account.
- Select My account on the top right-hand side.
- Click Account Settings in the drop down to edit your account profile settings.
- In the Account details section, enter your phone number.
- Click Update to save your changes.
📌Note: Changes can take up to 24 hours to reflect.
Stopping Text Message Alerts as an Active Ting Customer
No longer interested in alert messages? Message STOP to the most recent message thread. You'll get a confirmation text when you've been removed.
Removing your Phone Number when Transferring Service
When you stop using Ting service, we'll remove your number automatically from recieving our SMS messages within 24 hours.
