eSIM compatibility
Not sure if your phone supports eSIM? Check your device settings:
iPhone
- Open your iPhone Settings.
- Select Cellular.
- Tap Add eSIM.
Android
Option 1:
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to Connections.
- Select SIM Manager.
- Tap Add eSIM.
Option 2:
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to Network & Internet.
- Select SIMs.
- Tap +Add SIM.
How to activate an eSIM with Ting
Activating an eSIM with Ting is easy. Whether you’re getting a new number or bringing your number to Ting, the process is seamless:
1. Start Your activation
Begin the activation process through the Ting website.
2. Choose your eSIM option
When prompted to check your SIM or buy one during activation, select "Get an eSIM" . This is only available if your device is compatible.
3. Receive your eSIM details
At the end of the activation process, you'll need to complete your eSIM activation. Ting will send you an email containing:
• A QR code to scan.
• A manual activation code for devices that require manual input.
4. Set up your eSIM
- Open your phone’s settings, navigate to your cellular or mobile network options, and select "Add Cellular Plan."
- Scan the QR code or manually enter the code provided in the email.
