Your email address on file with Laguna Woods Village Resident Services will be used to createyour new DirecTV account.
To ensure a smooth transition, please verify that your email address is current and accurate in:
- Resident Services records
- The Resident Portal
If your email address needs to be updated, we recommend doing so as soon as possible beforeyour DirecTV account is created.
Recommended: Use a Google Account
While any valid email address can be used for your DirecTV account, Ting and DirecTV stronglyrecommend using a Gmail address whenever possible.
A Google account with a Gmail email provides additional benefits, including:
- Access to Google Play apps on the Gemini Stream device
- Enhanced voice control features
- Access to Google services integrated with the Gemini platform
Important: Any email provider (Yahoo, AOL, Outlook, etc.) will work for DirecTV service.However, residents who wish to utilize Apps on their Gemini device and certain voice-controlfeatures should use a Google account and Gmail email address.
