As DirecTV is rolled out across Laguna Woods Village, residents are invited to attend a DirecTV Customer Education Seminar to learn about the new DirecTV service and equipment being introduced. Residents will have the opportunity to try the DirecTV equipment themselves before the presentation begins. After the hands-on portion, DirecTV representatives will give a presentation explaining how the service works and will answer questions to help residents feel comfortable using their new system. The seminar will be held Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Performing Arts Center-Clubhouse 3. Residents are encouraged to attend to learn about the new DirecTV service and devices. Ting representatives and Village Ambassadors will also be present to provide hands-on assistance and answer questions.

Ting construction crews are hard at work in Laguna Woods Village, with active builds underway in the Southeast Work Zone Node 12 by Gate 1. Construction has also moved into the Northwest Work Zone in Nodes 20, 21 and 22 between Gates 7 & 8. Residents in these areas may notice construction activity, including pre-wiring of buildings, as we prepare the infrastructure for fiber internet service. We appreciate your patience during this exciting progress toward faster, more reliable connectivity.

Over the next 30 - 60 days, Ting construction will begin in Nodes 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27 in the Southwest Work Zone by Gates 9 and 11. Our crews will be preparing these neighborhoods for the arrival of fiber internet. We’ll also be working on the main fiber route in the West work zone between gates 14, 10, 9 and 7. We’ll work efficiently to minimize disruptions while building the network that will soon bring next-generation connectivity to your community.

Ting is now actively installing services to residents of Laguna Woods Village. Currently residents living in Nodes 1 through 11 in the Southeast Work Zone surrounded by Gates 1, 2, 3 and 4 will have already received notifications. Additionally installations have begun in Nodes 13 through 18 in the Northeast Work Zone between Gates 5 and 6. Finally residents in Node 19 in the Northwest Work Zone by Gate 14 are also actively being installed. Our team will be reaching out to schedule your installation or may have already done so. We’re excited to bring you the benefits of blazing-fast fiber internet.

In the coming 30 - 60 days, Ting will begin installations in Node 12 in the Southeast Work Zone between Gates 1 and 2. Also Nodes 20 through 22 in the Northwest Work Zones near gates 7 and 8 and Nodes 23 through 25 in the Southwest Work Zones near gates 9 and 10.
