  • What is fiber?

    Fiber is the way the Internet should be experienced! With Ting fiber internet, your home is connected to our fast and reliable fiberglass network, giving you access to the Internet without the drawbacks of the older technology used by broadband internet. Data traveling at the speed of light through fiber optic cables means clear video chats, smooth gaming and endless lag-free streaming.

  • Should I cancel my service before I move?

    Ting makes it easy to cancel your service. You can cancel at any time and even have our Customer Support team schedule your disconnection. This way, your service can stay up and running right up to and including your move-out day!

  • How do I transfer my service?

    If the house you’re headed to has had Ting service in the past, then transferring is easy. Just reach out to our Customer Onboarding team and let them know, and they’ll make all the arrangements to get the service activated at your new home when you need it, as well as arrange for the cancellation of the old service.

    If the new house hasn’t had Ting service yet, then getting service will feel much like the first time you got connected with us. We’ll need to schedule a full installation with the same steps and processes—except this time, you’ll already have an account to work with.

  • How long does it take to transfer my service?

    It’s pretty quick! We can activate a new service in a house that has previously had Ting on fairly short notice, usually that same day if the request is received early enough. If your new house hasn’t had Ting before, then it all depends on how quickly we can schedule your installation appointment. You can generally expect activation in a few weeks.
